- Paper clips
- Coins
- A plastic spoon
- A rubber band

How it works
Magnets attract objects made of iron, nickel, or cobalt. Paper clips and steel spoons are usually magnetic, while plastic, wood, and rubber are not. This experiment introduces the concept of magnetic materials.
